Frostbite Series Scoring
Scoring for Series 1 was Low Point. Participation in 50% of the race days were required to qualify for the series.
Scoring for Series 2 is High Point, scored in the following way:
- Total points for the day is equal to the number of boat +1 times the number of races.
- 1 point per race for participation on that day. Must start at least 1 race.
- 1 point per race for finshing.
- 1 point per race for every boat you beat.
- "Winning Percentages" are equal to points earned/total points (for race, day or series).
- 50% (rounded up) of the race days are required to qualify for the series.
- Best 50% (rounded up) of the race days actually sailed will be scored for the series.
- RC duty counts as a sailing day for the committee.
- Average winning percentage is awarded (i.e. count # of qualifying days-1)
- The qualified Skipper who has the highest winning percentage wins.
