Annapolis ICers,

A little rain and drizzle didn't keep eight boats from sailing last Sunday in the ninth day of Series 2. Seven races were sailed including 3 general recalls before the first start! The SW wind was puffy and brough on a slight chop that can really kill an ICs progress if not watched carefully. The showdown for the Series 2 title began with Macy and Jesse trading tacks to the windward mark in the first race with finishes remaining tight in most others. The Brickells and Plines remain very close for third with Mike Mergenthaller and the Foots not far behind. Falsone/Jones won the day with 49 points out of 63 in spite of making two 720's. The Nelsons were second(?) with 43 and were also forced to make a few circles. Unofficially, Jesse moves back into the lead with an 83.1% and Macy with 82.9%. However, Macy can easily win with a decent finish next week that allows him to drop last week's finishes.
