SSA has a long history of excellent sailing programs. This summer, we continue this tradition by offering one of the best sailing programs in the country. We teach classes to junior sailors ages 6 -18 in all levels of sailing - from beginner sailor to advanced racer.

The Director and Junior Board have been working hard to ensure that SSA provides a safe, fun, and rewarding experience for all of our sailors; whether they are first time students, or experienced racers looking to compete at the highest levels.

In 2011, we again had record high attendance. Close to 400 junior sailors participated in one or more sessions at SSA, and our junior sailors participated in events throughout the United States, from New England to Florida.

In addition to summer sailing, we offer Fall and Spring high school and Opti race training. Our high school teams are nationally competitive. In 2010 an SSA team finished top five in fleet race nationals, and top ten in team race nationals.
