TESOD Weekly Racing Reports - May 12, 2009

So we're not off to a stellar start for TESOD with last week having storms, 50 degree temps., and no wind. At least last night we had 2 official races (if there is such a thing in TESOD) and had to call off the third race when the dreaded North/Southerly was competing with the El Eastporto harbor puffs and the Vacuum effect, or, noth'in, no where's.

Good to see that we are off to a family affair season with Father Son teams in Snipes and Jets. (Pictures to be posted on TESOD web page)

Mind you, the count below is of STARTERS. Some other folks & Thistlers were attempting to sail out (an hour late) when sailing was blown off.

Lasers 18
V-15 3
Snipes 3
Jet 14 3
Thistle

RC - Nan and Doug Palmer on the rubber boat scratching their heads & Bryan Stout and Alex 'The Heckler' on Aqua Sport.

I've consulted w/ my magic 8 balls (yes, I own 2) with the question about wind forecast next Tuesday and the 1st said "very likely" and the second said "don't be afraid". So, expect lot's of wind next TESOD! Steve Podlich is up for PRO .

See you out on the race course - Alex
