TESOD Weekly Racing Reports - May 13, 2008

We kicked off our second racing night of the TESOD season with the same outlook - no wind to filling 60 degree shift sea breeze to great sailing and competition to free keg and good food back at Dark N' Stormy's!

19 boats made it out to the line with the Lasers/Moth completing 5 races and Snipes/V15s completing 4 races.

The season is looking up as more white skin is starting to appear with added boats filled with juniors and families. Some highlights were: V15er, Stan Smith checking the water temperature at the first start; New Snipe sailors, juniors Matt Schoene and Steve Roth taking bullets; many close OCS Laser starts battling outward current; Dave Hammett on constant course change alert, and Nan trying to figure out which way the Start boat was facing to sight the line (she ended up dizzy).
