Sam MacKay:

Sam comes to us from New Zealand with a wealth of experience, including top 3 placings at the NZ Nationals in each of the Optimist, P Class, 420 and Starling classes. He was a member of the Nations Cup winning NZ team at the 2007 Optimist Worlds and placed in the top 20 in the 2008 Optimist Worlds. Sam is also an accomplished match racer, winning the NZ Youth Match Racing Nationals in 2014. More recently, he bought a WASZP and finished 5th in the 2018 Australian nationals.

Thursday 1pm-7pm
Friday 1pm-7pm
Requirements to bring to each day:
Trapeze harness, notepad, pen, running sneakers, snacks, lunch and water.

SSA Racing

Most weekends--and many weeknights--around the year, there's some sort of one-design racing happening out of Severn Sailing Association. Check out the calendar to see what's going on these days!

SSA Junior Program

SSA runs a year-round program to develop skills and a lifelong love of sailing in our younger sailors. A summer program and fall and spring high school sailing programs are just the tip of the iceberg.
