SSA Membership brings many benefits. Members are part of a community dedicated to one-design racing in Annapolis. We run a full slate of races and junior instructional programs year around. SSA maintains the best real estate for enjoying the Annapolis Harbor in an environmentally friendly way with a modern club house to support sailing and after-sailing social activities. Wet and dry storage space is available to members based on participation and availability with 3 crane hoists as well as ample ramp launching space. Member’s children receive discounts on SSA’s excellent Junior Sailing programs.

At the heart of SSA is the volunteer spirit of our founders that has endured to make SSA both welcoming and affordable. Members contribute to the Club’s operations as part of their membership. Volunteer hours can be on race committee, facility work parties, on the various committees, or can be tailored to a member’s time and skill set. Training and mentorship enhance SSA’s ability to conduct world-class sailing with committed sailors involved in all activities. We are proud of our heritage of being a club run by sailors for sailors.
